Dirty Dash

My Grandpa Smitty marked most everything he owned with a giant, royal blue, spray painted "S". You name it and it had an S. His nice trailer, his folding chairs, his masonry equipment, etc.  Well, that cute guy passed away over twenty years ago but his other granddaughters and I kept the tradition alive when we decorated our shirts for the Dirty Dash 5K a couple of weeks ago. We traveled to the race in a "cozy little rascal" and then did our best to be "worth our weight in cow chips" as we plunged, fell, leaped, and laughed our way through a glorious amount of mud.

I love my Smith people and we love you Grandpa. We love being your girls.
