Mawwaige, is what bring us together today.. :)

Well, at least seven years ago.
For our anniversary The Beloved and I decided to be one with nature and do a little fishin'.

Running up and down the trail, fetching our gear.

But no fish were to be had. :(

Our date night started a little bit late in the evening after a busy Saturday afternoon so after fishing, when it was time to eat dinner... we were TIRED. But not boring my friends. Never that. But truly tired.
Here's The Beloved's tired photo shoot at the restaurant.

Here's mine  - really not sure why I look like I'm praying. Odd..

From our table I took a photo shot of our surrounding environment. Staring at me in between those bars was a creepy little manikin girl that is not at all properly represented from this photo. Once I noticed her, my eyes wouldn't stop being drawn in that direction.

At the end of our date we decided to take a picture with this disturbing decoration.
Not your favorite dinner guest, right?
It was nice to go on a little drive and get away for awhile with one another. Leaving all of our roles and responsibilities behind - I can just be me and The Beloved can just be him - the same people we fell in love with - but now just love each other more.
In the truck we listened to old radio show mysteries but my favorite part was the old vintage commercials.
Thanks for the hot date  The Beloved! I love you mucho gusto!

Boys Just Wanna Have Fun..

And paint their toenails too... until they're five....
rule - they can only be decorated with the colors blue or green.

Lou and Ruckus were thrilled for the Baby to have this first time experience. Lucky fellow. :)

The Great Adventure

Just my boys and I took a little weekend to go and play with The Beloved's sister and her Fam.
Our first adventure was lunch in the mountains and then a hike baby!

The kids eating lunch  - right before a hot game of Ghost in the Grave Yard.
 The Hike ensues -

There's the Lou-dog

The Baby's favorite activity during the hike.

Ruckus is always in search of a good pair of sticks. Always.

Uncle D  - Ha ha!

Cousin JW running through faster than I can capture a picture. I don't blame him.

Later that evening Cousin JW desperately wanted us to experience his favorite snow shack - and my kids couldn't have been happier.
The treat was good and the mister (mist sprayer? no clue) entertained for a good half hour.

While I was bonding with relatives in UT, The Beloved was traveling clear across the country to help deliver his brother and family to the great state of TX.
Finally arriving at their destination. Hurray!
The Beloved, Fultray, and Grandma and Grandpa all went along for the journey. Drove there and back - straight - animals I tell ya.

Those are the only random pictures The Beloved sent me from his phone. :)
To The Beloved's brother - awesome wife - my sweet nephew - and his two brother dogs :),
We miss you and Love YOU!!!

Back in UT the events that were transpiring were quite different from The Beloved's. A couple weeks before our planned visit my sister-in-law invited me to participate in a 10K with her... so
I did - and I loved it!
Me with RW and her running buddies.

I love you dear sweet sister in law of mine! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality  - you always make us feel so comfortable and at home whilst at your abode.

Grandma's and Grandpa's!

One on one time with Grandma and Grandpa! -
We love it!
We originally were supposed to spend the 4th of July with The Beloved's Parents but plans got mixed around and we partied with them a few days later so,  they reenacted their Independence Day celebrations with us. First by setting up the water toys in the backyard.

Grandpa leaning out to GET Lou.

Little C pushing Ruckus.

Happy Baby...

We were so glad when The Beloved's sister and entourage decided to drop in on the festivities.
After dry clothes were adorned, here's the whole group doing the Insanity workout.
Love these people.

Then, Grandpa cooked some great barbecue delicacies for us all to enjoy in the backyard.
Me with Aunty K enjoying our beverages of choice.
And of course I got zero pictures of the fire works celebration...
but alas, that too was a joyful event.
Everyone was able to take a turn setting one off and then afterwards Grandma passed out those glowing bracelets for the kids to play with. Uncle Fultray and The Beloved turned up the music on their phones while the grandchildren provided us with a glowing bracelet dance show.
Very entertaining!
We loved every moment!
