The Beloved with his boys on his b-day
Work clothes - yea!
A cake was forfeited for Root beer Floats - I'm not going to complain about that. :) and neither is The Baby.
The Celebration of The Beloved lasts for two weeks in the month of June- starting with Father's Day and ending with his birthday -
Spoilage galore for my very handsome but presently overly hairy man.:)
He says he is growing his hair out until the baby is born.
Wow.
Revelation #1 to you about The Beloved -
The more you disagree or fight an idea he has the more likely he is to follow through.
2. He asks me to braid his hair regularly. I regularly say no.
3. During Stake Conference he encouraged The Baby to comb through his long locks. The Baby was entertained for about an hour.
4. You already know this... but his behavior makes me laugh... A lot.
5. His Grandma told him he looks like Jesus. (I have no idea how to respond to that :)
Enough about the hair...
The Beloved Birthday Time Revelation #6 -
He loves to practice his golf swing by hitting the pine cones covering our front lawn.
7. Last week he upgraded from pine cones to pears that had fallen off the tree. After he creamed a neighbors house by accident he quickly tossed his club in front of Little C. When confronted by neighbor his response was,
I'm really sorry. I'll talk to the kids about this. :)
Naughty.
8. He learned how to make friendship bracelets with me to hand out to the YW for an object lesson. I was stressed, it was the night before the lesson, creating/crafts aren't my thing and I had procrastinated immensely. He calmed me down, pulled up some "how to" YouTube videos and bracelets were created. I love him.
9. He is the best, THE BEST, at grilling on the barbecue. Recently he made kabobs to die for. They consisted of steak, green peppers, and chicken wrapped in bacon. What the wonderful food love!
10. He hates the word passion, used in the context of - what are you passionate about? Or, I'm SO passionate about ____. Overly passionate people drive him a little nuts.
11. He is always creating new ideas and projects in his mind. I would almost say he is "passionate" about this. :) His most recent idea for the backyard is to build the most magnificent tree house alive.
He searches through different sites comparing tree houses while making blue prints in his mind.
12. He is the official FLY KILLER. And I must agree. He has a true talent. But the best part is after the swatting takes place and another flies life is taken he shouts out,
"That's right - I am the FLY KILLER".
I love The Beloved immensely and am so glad we could celebrate his wonderful role of being a father and also his 34 years of life.
He drives me the right kind of crazy and dishes out the perfect amount of love.

Tad and the Beloved should swap tree house ideas. We have blueprints waiting to be put into action. Every house we look at excites the boys that this might be the yard. We too have discovered the joy of bacon wrapped chicken...yum! Thinking of you often as I'm on the down hill of things.
