Well, Well... She Can Be Taught -

I had this crazy idea to make my mother and mother-in-law memory rag quilts for Christmas. Note: I had to re-learn how to thread my sewing machine and bobbin - and yeah, plus the actual sewing part :)
One of Jed's employees dedicated so much of her time seeing me through this endeavor.
Thank you for your amazing knowledge and patience, patience, patience... did I say patience yet?
Here are the completed projects - don't worry, these gifts have already been received, so no Christmas surprise is being ruined. If you know me - I AM ALL ABOUT THE SURPRISE :)
For my mother-in-law:

For my own little mother:

There you have it... I really am the Domestic Goddess in Training -
I know some of you had given up on me.

Well, now the four Christmas pillowcases I sewed today doesn't seem so awesome. What a fun gift you made. A lot of hard work too!

I'm really impressed. It has been a while for me to make any homemade Christmas gifts, but I love them and they are so appreciated. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful! You know that time when I was crying because your bow you made was way cuter than mine? Well maybe we might be having this problem again. haha They are totally beautiful! I love the pictures in the quilt. Where did you get them made or did you print them yourself? You have always been a domestic goddess to me!

You're so funny Megan! I am pretty sure your parents love me more right now too, just like they did in the bow situation :)
I bought HP photo transfer paper and than ironed on the pics to the fabric. You can also buy photo transfer fabric... so, that's what I know :)
