Alright, so truth be told, sometimes when I am in a department story I probably stare down the Barbie isle a little too long and maybe once in awhile I hold the sleeve of that adorable pink dress for an unreasonable amount of time - but, it is only sometimes... and I know it sounds silly, but I always want to rent those Disney princess movies because they look so darn cute.... but,
I don't.
Until Yesterday!
The new Tinkerbell movie did me in - and honey, I am sorry, but it was completely a premeditated decision - I rented it and plopped our boys right down in front of the screen.
And Why Not?!
They loved it by the way :)
In my defense - there were plenty of very masculine boy fairies and Tinkerbell herself is more of a tomboy in this film -
Of course once The Beloved found out he banned all "girl lead role movies" from the house .... right, right.... what a nerd...but just to reassure him that we do plenty of amazingly super boy things all day long - I thought it appropriate to post the pictures below -

I love my boys and I don't think I necessarily am longing for a little girl - but once in awhile you break :) Actually now, after look at that picture I think the only thing I am yearning for is a big bowl to barf in... yummy.
Oh yeah dear - by the way, I don't really think you're a nerd... not really.

What I would like to know is why it's okay for girls to watch Spiderman and Transformers, but not okay for boys to watch Tinkerbell? If someone could please explain that to me. I figure, what happens at home while Daddy is at works, stays right there. There's really no need to discuss it. :)

I've got the girls but no money for the movie! ha ha. Love the sumos. I think I'll go get a big bowl of ice cream....I decided I'm not so overweight after all.
I've also got the girls..and plenty of princess movies in this house. And you have every right to want a girl...they are awesome...they are moody...and they will give you all and more of what you gave your own mom!! :) So...like Kami said...get on it ;)
