Wicked
For Christmas the Beloved Spouse bought me tickets to this Broadway production and it was simply fantastic! This last weekend we dropped the kids off at my sister's (thanks a million :)) and headed for Portland. The drive was absolutely beautiful plus I had the best company alive! We arrived late, which is to be expected from the Beloved Spouse and myself, but we can handle it.

For those of you who have never listened to the soundtrack - you MUST! I was a little skeptical at first, not being a huge Wizard of Oz fan myself, but Wicked is completely lovable and different. The dancing in the play was fantastic, vocals supreme, and it was hilarious - which was not expected at all by me. Be warned though - I guess the play is nothing like the book and I have been told by many not to read it - so do whatever you wish with that info - anyhoo -

Lucky YOU! I bet it was soooo nice to escape from the kids for the weekend. I just LOVE Oregon! Sounds like it was fun times.
cammie...i love wicked! we are seeing it for the 3rd time in july. sammie can sing the entire soundtrack!
