It is not at all like it used to be!!! Bachelorhood is simply terrible. My wife and children have decided to leave their perfectly wonderful husband and father behind to take trips around the western states. My lovely wife thought it a good idea to visit her sisters and give them a break from the daily routine of motherhood. This would give her sisters and spouses time to get out and do something together; hopefully romantic without children. At the time I thought this was a nice gesture until the first week she was gone. It was awful. I don't mind cooking, cleaning, and being domestic (even though my wife is great and I am so grateful for her efforts around our home) but I was just so lonely and bored. I like coming home to a crazy house of kids and my frazzled wife. When she got back from her first trip all she wanted to do was sleep but I just wanted to talk.
She has another week of travel soon that I am not looking forward to. Family when you are off visiting all corners of the world remember your poor husband/ father stuck here slaving away so you can visit the world. All I want is your company. Luckily I have an eternity to be with you but hopefully it is not spent travelling away from me because I don't want to be a bachelor anymore!

Oh I love you Beloved Spouse! Thanks for your sacrifice - we miss you too! And if were trying to butter me up, I am not sure why - I am already pretty easy :)
well I do understand that you did suffer greatly while your family was away. I seem to remember that Tide was your way of spoiling yourself. way to go. It is always nice to see that the husband/father truly misses there family while they are gone.
This is sweet and sad! What gastly sisters-in-law you have...The least they could do is send some bread home to comfort and help you recover from your abandonment.
It's funny how once you are married and have kids you wonder how in the world you ever survived without them. It's like "What the crap did I used to do with all of my time?"
