Sweetrotten's current difficulty: not being allowed to use a binky. And getting into trouble when she snatches her sister's. Below, see how our darling little child was resourceful in coping with her difficulty. It was definitely creative/borderline "never want to see that again in my lifetime".

Summer Passport #3 - Jump Creek

Jump Creek is a hidden treasure near Marsing, ID. The rumors are, after going on a short, kid friendly hike, you'll magically appear at a waterfall. Who doesn't want to experience that?

The little problem we ran into was there are multiple hiking trails and zero signs stating, "Hey take me, I'm the kid friendly way!" So, after about 30 minutes of going up a more intense trail and then stumbling back down with my baby, 8,7,5,and 2 year old, we finally found the right path. People cried. Wanted to quit. But, the mom was determined.

So, one against five (Little C opted out of coming), I made them trudge on until we discovered our magical waterfall. And it was worth it. It was so worth it that a few weeks later we returned with The Beloved and Little C.

Here we are trudging :)
